 DASL - Dayton Amateur Soccer League
Fellow Referees,
Please follow these instructions for the DASL men's and women's games:

You must CALL THE LEAGUE, (937) 572-9448, before 8 PM Sunday to report any CAUTIONS and/or SEND OFFS. The League needs the player’s name and reason for the card given.

Remember, there are only 7 cautionable offenses and 7 offenses you can send a player off for.

DASL is using a point system to deal with accumulated yellow and red cards. It is IMPORTANT to REPORT THE CAUTIONS AND SEND OFFS PROPERLY!!

This information, of course, has to be on the game report as well (including the player’s pass #).

The DASL Secretary has specifically asked us to enforce the “No Card, No Play” rule.

All teams have been notified that they need to have proper, laminated passes for all players.

Exceptions to this rule will come only from the league secretary (Don Frye) directly or through me.

Check all player passes for proper picture, lamination, and expiration date.

***** The league says NO CARD, NO PLAY. *****

Please allow only those players who are properly equipped to participate in a game.

This means that all players have shin guards, matching jerseys, shorts, and socks.

***** The league wants MATCHING UNIFORMS. *****

Please use the game report provided by the home team. Include a description of the offenses and situations that lead to cautions, send offs, and injuries. In case of a send off, include the player’s pass in the envelope.

This information is used to assess suspensions, mediate protests, and can be useful in case of a lawsuit.

If appropriate, you can also fill out the game report online from the www.dasoa.org website and e-mail it to the DASL secretary at Fryedasl@aol.com

To send in a game report within 24 hrs after the game is a REQUIREMENT!!

Scheduling conflicts HAVE to be communicated BEFORE 9 PM on THURSDAY immediately preceding the game in question.

All conflicts need to be brought to my attention so that changes can be coordinated through me.

The fee structure is as follows and includes a breakdown for cases where a game is not covered by a complete referee crew

Field directions:
-
Urbana University is on campus. Go north on SR 68 into Urbana and look for signs to the university. You’ll be turning left (west) off 68 and you’ll dead-end into campus. The field will then be to your left.

West Alexandria. The field is in the southwest corner of the intersection of SR35 and 503. There is an entrance off 503 (just south of SR35) and one off SR35 (just west of 503).

From Dayton – go west on SR35 until you hit 503 in W. Alex., turn left (south) and then right (west) into the park

From I-70 – take exit 14 and go south on 503 until you hit SR35 in W. Alex. Cross over SR35 and turn right (west) into the park.

Sycamore Woods is in Trotwood. Take Union Rd. north or south to Shiloh Springs Rd. Turn west onto Shiloh Springs Rd. Go about ½ mile and turn left (south) on Sycamore Woods Blvd. Follow this road and the field will come up on your right. OR..... Catch Shiloh Springs off SR49 (by Salem Mall) and go west or even off SR48 east of Hara Arena and go west….and cross over Union Rd. etc.

Madden Park sits behind Madden Golf Course on Guthrie Rd. off Nicholas Rd. west of I-75 (Exit 51).

Shawnee Hills is in the Jamestown area. Go SR35 east towards Xenia, take the 35 bypass to Bickett Rd. Turn right off ramp, follow Bickett to flashing light. Turn left on Jasper Rd for about 3-4 miles going through New Jasper Station to the Shawnee Hills lake community. Field will be on your left.
